Meet Jem. He's somewhat of a mythical beast in these parts. After appearing from the deepest, darkest depths of Australia almost 2 years ago, Jem joined FWX and never looked back.

His actual age is unknown, however, carbon dating has this man somewhere in between the age of 50 and 100 years old.

Never one to let it slow him down or hold him back. Regularly tearing it up with people half his age, week in week out. Jem is legend 👊🏻

A huge weekend ahead for FWX instructor Madison Murphy as she competes on Polaris...one of the biggest and most prestigious grappling promotions in the world.

This is an incredible opportunity and a testament to the hard work, dedication and skill Madison has shown over the years. To compete on a stage like Polaris is something every grappler dreams of, and we couldn't be prouder to see her representing Fightworx.

Many of you will know Madison from our junior programme and our women's classes, where she's helped countless members build confidence, develop their Jiu Jitsu and enjoy training in a welcoming environment.

FWX Junior Summer Camp 2026 ☀️🥋

Keep your children active, learning and having fun this summer at the Fightworx Junior Summer Camp!

Running over 6 weeks, our summer camp is packed with exciting martial arts training, games and activities in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment. Whether your child already trains with us or is completely new to martial arts, everyone is welcome.

Each session is designed to build confidence, improve fitness, teach new skills and, most importantly, ensure everyone has a brilliant time.

📅 Starts:Tuesday 28th July

🥋 Tuesdays: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

🥊 Wednesdays: Muay Thai & MMA

⏰ Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm

💥 Grand Finale – Junior Olympics!

The camp finishes on Tuesday 1st September with our FWX Junior Olympics – a fun-filled morning where all of the children come together to take part in exciting team games, martial arts challenges and friendly competitions to celebrate everything they've learned throughout the summer.
