Fantastic day today at Thirsk Bowmen. Started with archery car boot sale, then AGM, then BBQ followed by a fun shoot. Real community spirit and fun being had by everyone at our amazing club!

When your Chairman sends you a photo of his handy work and you don’t know whether to praise him, tell him to cut the red wire or call the Bomb Squad 😳 Thankfully it’s the wiring of a warning beacon for our new field 😀

Thirsk Bowmen raised £650 for local charity Herriot Hospice.

On Saturday archers from across the region joined Thirsk Bowmen members for a fun longbow shoot in memory of member Dr Jason Price who sadly passed away in 2022.

In total £650 was raised for local charity Herriot Hospice who provide invaluable care and support for people with terminal illness and their families - such an amazing beneficiary!
