U6s, U7s, U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s, U12s, U14s and U15s.

Our Under 10s started the season strong at last weeks TonFest. Everyone had an incredible day and it was good to get back to it. We played against a number of teams throughout the day demonstrating the new skills we’ve been learning in training. It was a fantastic way to kick off the new season!

Yesterday, we travelled to Llantwit Fadre for a Round Robin with Bridgend Sports. Despite the awful weather conditions, all teams played some fantastic rugby!

Our defence today was outstanding! Tonyrefail showed us what true teamwork is all about as they supported eachother throughout the game. Whether it was tackling, passing or helping their teammates after an injury. It was a pleasure to watch and you made your coaches and parents proud!

We have plenty to work on over the coming weeks and we are learning every week but if those games were anything to go by today, we can expect fantastic things from our Under 10s this season!

Our Team Captain today was Albie Morgan and he did a fantastic job at leading the team.

Well Done to our 2 Players of the Match today, Rohan and Theo. Very well deserved boys, you played with fire in your bellies!

U7s were on the road to Ystrad Rhondda RFC Mini and Juniors for their first rugby game of the season!
There was plenty of fantastic tagging and lots of tries on display, but more importantly, there were smiles everywhere!

Under 11s welcomed our good friends from Llantrisant RFC to Tonyrefail tonight for a midweek local derby 🏉☀️

The big crowd were treated to a fantastic, end-to-end, closely contested match where everyone involved gave 110% 👏

Speed, physicality, skill and sportsmanship on display throughout…..exactly what mini and junior rugby is all about 😁

Our u12s welcomed Machen today and it was a great game of rugby. First time on a full pitch, first time with proper scrums, first time with 15 players and the first time that conversions really made a difference because it's points rather than tries that are recorded now.

Our boys did brilliantly from the start, with no subs and 2 x 25 minutes we hoped and prayed they wouldn't go down but they ran, tackled and battled for every minute they were on the pitch.

Well done boys, nice to have a Win to start the season off.

Every single player played incredibly well and gave it their all. The teamwork, determination, enthusiasm and brilliant rugby on display made us so proud!

You represented the team fantastically and watching every player get involved, support one another and enjoy themselves is exactly what rugby is all about. 💛🖤

Under 11s welcomed Tylorstown RFC to Tyn Y Bryn Park today to kick start the season with a Rhondda derby 🏉

Excellent conditions this morning with weather and pitch perfect for running rugby. The squad delivered a brilliant all-round team performance, with forwards and backs linking up well and doing their jobs superbly.

A great team effort from all involved 👏🏻

Levi & Kolbi, our half backs today deservedly named players of match as they controlled the team exceptionally well today 👍🏻

Diolch to Tylorstown for a great game and to all parents and supporters for coming along.
