CUSTOMER UPDATE (11/9/26)

Following concerns identified with the stability of some ceiling tiles within the pool hall, the indoor pools will need to remain temporarily closed while a protective net is installed across pools. Initial indications are that the works will take approximately two weeks to complete.

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council (TMBC), working in partnership with tmactive, is arranging for the protective net to be installed as soon as possible. Once the net is in place and it is safe to reopen, the indoor pools will return to normal operation while further inspections are carried out and longer-term options for the ceiling are considered.

The Outdoor Pool will remain open throughout the works, with extended opening hours:

>Monday to Friday: 6.30am – 9pm
>Saturday & Sunday: 7am – 8pm

The Spa and Café will also remain open.

We understand that this temporary closure may be disappointing and apologise for any inconvenience caused. The safety of our customers and staff remains our priority.

OUTDOOR POOL - OPEN ALL YEAR!

We are delighted to confirm that the outdoor pool will remain open throughout the autumn and winter for a second year, following a positive response from customers.

The extended season will run from October to March, with the pool maintained at 20–21°C, allowing swimmers to continue enjoying the outdoors beyond the traditional summer months. The cooler water will also provide an opportunity for open water swimmers to maintain their training.

Regular swimmer Anna-Marie reflected on her experience of swimming outdoors throughout last winter and the difference it made to her wellbeing:

“I want to say a massive thank you for keeping the outdoor pool open – you’ve totally changed my life.”

The Studio features 9 Innerva power-assisted machines arranged as a circuit, each targeting different muscle groups. The equipment guides your movements safely, making exercise easier and more inclusive, so you can work with the machines – not against them – and build confidence at your own pace.
