YOUTH FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!

As the season kicks off for a handful of our teams, we proudly welcome our brand new U7 Raptors.
Raptors headed over to Maldon Saints today as they began the new 3v3 format.
The team were fantastic and we wish them well for their first ever season with us 💪🏻💥

Around the club;
⚽ U10 Vipers picked up where they left off last season with a convincing win.
⚽ U10 Cobras weren't so fortunate, but we heard the lads and lasses gave 100%.
⚽ U11 Tigers sadly suffered a defeat, but managed to bag 4 goals. The team played some exciting football and all the coaches remain proud.
⚽ U12 Jaguars picked up a win on the road. Winning 4-2 away to Gt. Notley. Some lovely goals and on another day, Jags could have had more.
⚽ U12 Phoenix travelled to Hawkwell Athletic for their final pre-season match. They also walked away as 4-2 victors having gone down 2-1. 4 well taken goals and some stoic defending managed to get them the win.

Well done to all our POTM and Parents POTM winners today. A very solid start for all of you.

On Friday 4th September, our U10 Meerkats were invited to WhiteNotley FootballClub to take part in the clubs' annual Roberts Youth Shield match.

You can read for yourself why Meerkats were invited and how it is always a pleasure to see how well regarded teams from our club are and to know that there are teams and clubs that share the same values.

Neil, Chris and Ernie were thrilled coaches throughout the match.
Neil added - "It was an honour to play in a match so dear to White Notley FC. Needless to say, the girls did themselves and our club proud tonight. We played some amazing football and the girls were cooking!"

Congratulations Meerkats for winning the Roberts Youth Shield - a sign of things to come perhaps...?

Sincere thanks again to White Notley Youth FC for the invitation for Meerkats to take part in such a great tradition of your club. Wishing you all a great season ahead.

As the summer comes to an end and a new school year begins, we want to wish every single one of our players the very best of luck.

For some of you, this is just another step forward. For others, it may mean a brand new school, new teachers, new classmates and exciting challenges ahead.

Remember the qualities you show on the football pitch: be brave, work hard, believe in yourself, support those around you and never be afraid to make mistakes. Those same qualities will take you a long way in the classroom too.

Whether you're pulling on your school uniform for the first time or heading back for another year, make memories, make friends and give it your all.

Most importantly, be proud of who you are.
