FCS Ronaldos U14s are looking to add two experienced players (defender/attacker) to our squad ahead of an exciting new season in the Premiership! 🔥

We’re a strong, competitive team playing in the Blackpool & District Youth Football League Sunday Division, with a great group of lads and a fantastic team environment both on and off the pitch. 💪

⚽️ U9 Maradonas ⚽️

A brilliant first game of the new season against a Thornton Pumas side we know very well. The lads battled hard throughout and showed plenty of determination in what was a close game.

Parents’ Player of the Match 🏆 goes to AP, who was tireless in both attack and defence. He worked incredibly hard for the team and was very unlucky not to come away with his first goal of the season. Well done today!

Managers’ Player of the Match 🏆 goes to RG, who was a brick wall in defence. He made some great passes and provided well needed presence at the back with his strength and composure.

Overall, a solid first game back and plenty to build on. Already looking forward to next week’s game! 💪💙❤️

Neymars U10⚽️

Neymars took on new season up at Common Edge for what was a tough opening fixture. Despite the conditions Neymars battled, worked as a team and it was really refreshing watching them put all the hard work from pre-season into practice with some outstanding team goals.

Coaches player - BM 🏆

BM gave everything from start to finish. He battled at the back, showing plenty of strength, commitment and bravery throughout the game. He wasn’t afraid to drive forward when the opportunity was there and he showed brilliant decision-making in and out of possession - Well done ⚽️

Parents player - RG 🏆

Another defensive rock at the back, what a performance by RG, from the hard work he puts in training, to leading the team as the captain for our first fixture and was a real leader from start to finish. RG constantly talking to his teammates, organising those around him and helping keep the defence switched on and organised. He showed great awareness of what was happening around him and wasn’t afraid to take responsibility. Well done ⚽️

Amazingly determined performance from the U16s girls this morning.
Every single one of them giving 110%... but none more so than the Player of the Match, LF.
She was pure class from start to finish - showing pace and strength on the wing for the first sixty minutes, then bolstering the defence for the last 20.

MoM - LW

A fantastic performance both on and off the ball today. On the ball he made things tick and always made something happen. Off the ball he was physically dominant and covered every blade of grass. Capped off with a superb assist.

Parents MoM - JG

A brilliant debut from JG. He had the opposition full back on strings every time the ball was at his feet. It’s as if his boots have glue on them the way he dribbles past players with the ball staying close to him. Lots more to come from this young man.

🏆 Cruyff’s U12 🏆

Coaches POTM went to TM for a resilient performance at right mid & right wing. Also managing to get himself on the scoresheet from a corner with a perfect floating ball into the box that dropped nicely into the goal.
RR awarded Parents POTM for his energy all game long also being played in 2 positions and proving good footballing knowledge in both positions.

The Captaincy for next week goes to LH. Some really good decision making to come out quickly to intercept opposition attacks and also great distribution and playing out from the back.

This weeks Player of the match is EC-R

An absolute rock at the back, always looking to receive the ball, good body shape, carried the ball out well when playing out from the back and picked out some great forward passes.

🏆 U13 Ronaldinho MoTM was TS

He worked tirelessly in the middle of the pitch from start to finish, covering every blade of grass and topping it off with an absolute screamer.
He’d given so much by the final whistle that he was literally flat out on the floor afterwards! 😂
A brilliant all-round performance and fully deserved. 👏

This one goes to DM, who is always there to support the team in defence. He works incredibly hard to keep the opposition from scoring and does everything he can to get the ball safely out of our area. His communication and the way he uses his voice on the pitch is a huge help to the team, especially when it comes to passing, winning the ball and keeping everyone organised.

🏆 CPOTM AP 🏆

CPOTM goes to AP, who worked incredibly hard from start to finish throughout the whole game. He made some great decisions when passing the ball to his teammates and picked up the first assist of the game! 🙌⚽️
AP was non-stop battling for the ball and gave absolutely everything. He can play in any position and, as always, gives it his all for the team.
