You may have noticed things have been a little quieter than usual from us over the last couple of weeks, both on the pitch and across our socials.

There’s a very good reason for that!

Our manager has been away with his partner Holly as the pair tied the knot and celebrated their wedding. 💍❤️

Everyone at Thornaby Nash FC would like to send a massive congratulations to the newlyweds and wish them both a lifetime of happiness together. Cam and Holly have both given this club their heart and soul over the last few years, getting the club to where it is and we couldn't be any happier for the pair of them ❤️

We hope they’ve enjoyed every minute of their well-earned time away — although we’re sure married life won’t be quite as stressful as managing our lot on a Sunday morning! 😂⚽️

With the gaffer returning during the week, normal service will shortly resume and our attention turns back to the football.

‼️𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧‼️

Brilliant performance from the lads this morning against the champions, from the first minute we were on it and wanted it more than them. Both teams tried to get a foothold early on but it was soon us who took control and eventually broke the deadlock after 35 minutes when Joe Wheatley slotted Carl Robbo through and he finishes off clinically, we go in to HT barley been troubled.

Second half again we came out right on it from the get go and shortly after coming on Aiden Lucas cuts the defence in half with a great ball for Chrissy Skipper to run on to and slot past the keeper! The boys kept going as we could sense there was more goals in this for us especially after hitting the bar and post and having a clear goal chalked off and also not capitalising on a couple 1 on 1’s but our 3rd came from a route one scenario with Daz White sending a ball up for the centre half to head it directly in the path of Carl Robbo and there’s only one thing happening with the form this lads in and he buries it in to the roof of the net!

Credit to Eston who came to life in the final 8 minutes as we conceded a very questionable penalty and another goal with tierd legs creeping in but the boys held firm and fully deserved the 3pts and on another day we take a bigger win and a clean sheet but the most important thing is the points stay with us!

Big shout to our MOTM today which was Famara Jatta who ran himself in to the ground like everyone else but since he’s signed for us he has been exceptional but today he was simply on another level 📈📈 keep it up mate!
