Had a great time competing at the this weekend, first time I’ve genuinely enjoyed the competition experience 💪

Really fun wrestling heavy match that I took a decision win on, never consider decisions as wins to be honest. I went into the second match pretty depleted and picked up a slight injury leading to the tap. No excuses, if you injure me and I have to tap that is the sport 😂. As my opponent transitioned to my back and elevated my head my SCM started tearing, moral of the story is don’t get your back took!

I’m developing my competition skill set and once I can be the same grappler on the comp mats as I am in the gym I’m going to be a nuisance!

Some well deserved promotions today!

It’s an absolute pleasure to watch the club grow and see the hard work pay off for the team. We see the belts but we don’t see the graft that’s gone into achieving them, we don’t hand these out lightly. You are seeing years of hard work, overriding the weak voice in your mind and taping a broken body together. Those that don’t train may not understand but those that do know it’s all worth it!

Big love and respect to for his constant help, support and knowledge. Your coach gives so much, make sure you’re showing your appreciation. Giving time and energy outside of a busy schedule isn’t easy and they do it all for the buzz of seeing the team grow and improve.

The new timetable will be going live from Monday the 8th (next week). Please get in touch and use the MAAT app to book onto your desired session.

Pre booking is available for kids classes and they will start on Monday 30th June. Due to restrictions on space class size will be limited to 10 children per session. We have had a lot of interest in the kids classes and I imagine it will book up fast! 💨
