I had such a big response from my taster sessions for schools and nurseries that I have extended my offer.
For World Mental Health Day I am offering free taster sessions to schools and nurseries over the first TWO weeks of October.

Another busy week bringing yoga to children through Telford and Shrewsbury.

I have been talking more about weekly wins or special moments as a way for ME to stop and take note of my achievements.

This week’s weekly win was a moment when one child from one of my nursery classes recognised me outside of yoga.

When she saw me she instantly recognised me as Yoga Sally and introduced me to her Mummy. Her Mum then went on to say how much she had been enjoying yoga at nursery ❤️

A really lovely moment that I wanted to share.

When the Yogi Bears 🐻 all meet for some of their own yoga. 🧘‍♂️

Many of the children in my classes will feel like they know Yogi Bear very well. He features in all of my classes and plays a vital role is aiding relaxation and calming. Yogi is a familiar face to the children and provides many with added reassurance and comfort.

Some lovely things that children have said during class so far this term…

Teacher ‘what’s your favourite thing about Autumn’
Child ‘cheese’
Teacher ‘what was everyone favourite part of yoga today’
Children unanimously say ‘relaxing’

I think my favourite thing when I arrive at a nursery is hearing the children saying ‘hello yoga lady’ or ‘yay it’s the yoga lady’
