Our very own 1st XI & Academy coach, Cookie Patel, is running a specialist fielding course in Birmingham over the off-season!

If you want to take your fielding to the next level and learn from an elite, ECB Level 4 coach who has worked at the very top of the game, this is a fantastic opportunity.

🥂 WHAT A DAY! 🥂

A massive thank you to the 94 ladies who joined us at Orleton Park on 15th August for our annual Ladies Day! It was an incredible afternoon of cricket, community, and unbelievable generosity.

Thanks to your amazing support, we raised a phenomenal £1,671 for three fantastic causes:

💙 £800 for Severn Hospice to support their vital care.
💜 £350 for Crohn's & Colitis UK.
🏏 £521 for Wellington CC Juniors. (These grassroots funds are going straight to work to pay for the formal coaching qualifications of THREE new prospective youth coaches!)

We want to send a huge shoutout to our headline sponsors, The Carpet Bank and A1 Glass and Glazing, as well as the many local businesses who generously donated some brilliant prizes for our charity raffle. 🎁

Events like this simply don’t happen without dedicated volunteers. Please join us in thanking our incredible organising committee—Jane, Amie, Dympna, Rachel, Michelle, and Natalie—for their tireless work and meticulous planning! 👏

A fantastic result against Allscott puts us top of the table with just two games to go! 🔝

The only game to get a result over the Bank Holiday weekend, with the rain putting a stop to the rest.

Our 6th XI captain, Jamie Hireson, is taking on a fantastic challenge this Friday! He will be hitting the streets and completing the Shine Night Walk alongside his family to raise money for Cancer Research UK. 🚶‍♂️💙

Jamie has done a brilliant job leading our new 6th XI this summer, bringing in heaps of new players and going the extra mile for the club. Now, we’d love to see the Wellington CC family get behind him for this amazing cause.
