🧗 NEW CHILDREN’S CLIMBING CLUB AT YMCA TAUNTON!

Does your child want to learn to climb, build their confidence and take on exciting new challenges?

Our Children’s Climbing Club is starting this September for young people aged 8–12.

Children will learn at their own pace with qualified climbing instructors, developing their skills as they progress through fun Base Camp challenges. No previous climbing experience is needed and all specialist equipment is provided.

🕓 4.00pm–5.30pm
📍 The Wrencon Climbing Hall at YMCA Taunton
💷 £10 per session
📆 Starting Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24 September 2026

Our new rooms are not just for meetings! Our multi-use rooms can accommodate a wide range of activities, as demonstrated by Friday’s Jac-Fitt class!

Our rooms have also been used for: quiz nights, children’s parties, dance classes, art classes, youth club, first aid workshops, bingo, Lego sessions … and of course meetings!

Today we said goodbye to Joy after 12 years at YMCA Taunton.

Joy’s hard work, commitment and dedication have meant such a lot to everyone both working at and visiting the YMCA. You’ve been such a committed part of the team, and we hope you leave today knowing just how much you and everything you’ve contributed have been appreciated.

We wish you every happiness in your retirement - enjoy it!
