Grassroots coaches get paid £0.

But they still turn up early, stay late, give up evenings, lose weekends and somehow find the energy to do it all again next week.

They organise the sessions.
They sort the teams.
They deal with the messages.
They stand in the rain.
They take the criticism.

All so kids can play football.

You don’t have to agree with every decision.

But you can show some respect. ⚽💚

One of our very own, Aimee is taking on the London marathon next year to help raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity! ❤️

This is her story:

“I'm taking on the TCS London Marathon this year, and it's not just about the miles- it's about making a difference for seriously ill children who need it most.

I'm proud to be running for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, a cause that supports seriously ill children and their families through specialist nurses and vital care. These nurses do incredible work helping those are facing some of the toughest moments imaginable.

This charity supports my daughter who was born with a very rare brain condition that she's only 1 in 500 in the world with, this condition causes meds resistant epilepsy and she's currently awaiting brain surgery to improve her quality of life and to hopefully give her lots more years with us, because of this she was also an IUGR baby in pregnancy and has a severe learning disability, GDD, cerebral palsy, autism, hyper mobility and a vision impairment, all of this effects her day to day life as well as our family, we just work with everyday as it comes and some days are hard but we are so lucky we get given funding to take her away and make memories for her, all of the things these types of charities help and support, it's now my time to give back to these nurses and the wonderful job they do for children like Evie and families like mine, this is a incredibly massive thing for me to do and I hope I can raise as much as I possibly can for this cause.”

Staplegrove FC Reserves are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team for the upcoming season. ⚽️

We’re looking for someone who is:

🔹 Reliable and committed
🔹 Able to work as part of a management team
🔹 Keen to help develop and support our players
🔹 Ready to get involved on matchdays and at training
