Sunday action is back this week as we travel away to play one of the new entries in the league, Stogursey Spirit.
A big challenge for the boys who will be hoping to get their first win of the campaign!

Mariners 3-3 Wyvern
A game full of goals you could say! We found ourselves 1-0 up due to a Stefan strike which kindly deflected off Finns Swede to wrong foot the keeper into the back of the net
Shortly after a Wyvern corner landed on Langers head straight back across to Finn who slotted away calmly
Yet again Wyvern on the attack with a neatly lofted ball from Leaty over the back 4 for Girton to swiftly tuck home
3-0 up and everyone buzzing
Mariners nick one back before the half with a sweet strike!

Mariners come out pressing with a point to prove scoring 2 goals to level it at 3-3
Maybe a second half we don’t speak about for the Wyvern but a point away from home nonetheless
It’s our first game together since the end of last season and at times it shown.

Butlins didn’t disappoint
Wyvern Wallies going to Ibiza….. back to the island…
I mean Minehead.
After a disappointing end to the season where we ended up finishing second on 3 occasions, the spirits are still high and the team are heading to Butlins for the weekend.
It might give some of the single lads an opportunity to come first for once.
