Some late night boxingâŚ
Not quite the kind that requires gloves đĽ
The box is officially making its way into BED classes, long box, short box, stuck boxâŚ
It might look innocent, but it gives us a whole new way to move, challenge your core, work on balance, change your range and add a little extra spice to some familiar moves.
Donât worry, weâll talk you through it all. And as always⌠OPTIONS. There are always options.
Welcome to late night boxing, BED style.

đ¨ THE BOX IS OUTâŚ
Itâs not big box, little box, cardboard boxâŚ
Itâs long box, short box, stuck box đ
And, most importantly, IT IS NOT A DRINKS TABLE.
Despite the fact that for the last few months itâs done a very convincing impression of one. đĽ¤đđą
The Reformer box is officially coming into classes and it gives us SO many more options.
We can use it longways or shortways (hence long box and short box), on the carriage, against the shoulder rests, and in different positions depending on what weâre working.
ThinkâŚ
Seated arm work
Side-lying legs & glutes
Ab work and core challenges
Back extension
Swan variations
Pulling straps
Horseback
Side overs
Mermaid variations
Lunges and single-leg work
âŚAnd plenty more as we get used to itâŚ
Sometimes the box actually makes a move more accessible and comfortable. Sometimes it gives you more support.
And sometimes⌠it takes something you already know and quietly turns the dial up a notch.
But donât worry.
Weâll talk you through exactly where the box goes, which way round it goes and what youâre doing with it. And, as always, there are options. ALWAYS options.
You donât have to use it. You donât have to do the hardest version. You work at your level, on your bed, in your class.
So yes⌠the drinks table has officially been promoted.
Long box? Short box? Stuck box?
Youâll soon know the difference.
The week ahead⌠itâs going to be a good one!
Curious about Reformer Pilates but not quite sure what to expect?
I wanted to give you a little look inside the studio and talk you through what our Reformer classes are all about.
You donât need to be super flexible, super fit or have any previous Pilates experience. Our classes are designed to help you build strength, improve mobility and feel more confident on the Reformer as you progress.
If youâve been thinking about giving it a try, this is your sign đ¤
Come and join us on the beds
Woooo itâs the weekend! I donât know about you, but this week has been full on. Find peace and zen in the studio! Well maybe not zen today (itâs Kerry), it will be a full on giggle! Have a great weekend.

Friday Reformer at ((BOUNCE)) BED
Come as you are. Leave feeling better.
And yes⌠weâre open all weekend too
Thursday therapy. The Reformer kind.
45 mins where nobody needs anything from you. Phone down, brain off(ish), springs on.
Move, stretch, wobble, laugh, question a few of our life choices⌠and leave feeling a whole lot better than when you walked in.
Whoâs in?
A little look at what we get up to on the beds đ
Hitch kicks. Pike. Arabesque. And plenty more where that came from.
Some moves test your strength, some your balance, some your coordination⌠and some make you wonder why your instructor has chosen violence that day đ
The best bit? You donât need to know what any of these are before you walk through the door. Weâll talk you through it, build you up and give you options along the way.
Open 7 days a week. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
Have you had a look yet? đ
Weâre open 7 days a week, so thereâs always time to fit a little Reformer into your week.
Early mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends â find the class that works for you and get yourself booked in.
Your bed is waiting⌠đ¤¸ââď¸
