After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.

The RFU recognises this will be disappointing for clubs, players and volunteers who have been preparing for the new season, but the decision follows consideration of a range of factors. For full details please follow this link.

Tamworth Men’s 1st XV's pre-season friendly at home against Ashby RUFC has fallen foul to the weather conditions.

With the delayed start to the upcoming season announcement yesterday, we'll look to see if this can be rescheduled.

There’s plenty happening though still.

VPs’ Garden Party kicks off from 1pm, the Lads are still down on the Park playing a Friendly fun game of cricket instead!

The Bar is open all day too!

This year sees a few new additions to the leadership team.

Tommy Franks & Dave Yardley come in to assist with coaching duties and bolster our 2nd XV match day personnel. Bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience on and off the pitch.

Tom Dyer will join the Senior Leadership team and will ably assist with operations across the whole Senior Section.
Tom's can do attitude will bring a level of infectious optimism and persistent resilience to any situation.

Congratulations to everyone stepping into these leadership roles, and thank you for your commitment to the Club.

We wish you every success for the 2026/27 season and look forward to what we have in store!

Huge congratulations to our Tamworth Rugby Club Colts lads for representing the Coventry Rugby Club Academy this weekend in their matches against Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club at Brunel University.
