All or nothing mentality will stop you from sticking to the plan.
Every time you miss a workout, or eat a meal that doesn't align with your goals you conclude that you don't have what it takes.
This cultivates a fixed mindset, and erodes your confidence and motivation.
Try to reframe this.
Consistency will always beat perfection!
A shorter workout still counts.
A diet that is 80% there is as good as you need.
Imperfect action builds momentum, and creates solid habits.
These habits lead to the behaviour change that is necessary for long term success.
If you need help with this DM me.

Here's a friendly reminder:
Self care isn't selfish. It's just the opposite!
Here's how working on your health at fitness is actually vital to your family's future:
✅️ You'll add years to your life. You want to be around for your family as long as possible right?
✅️ You'll have more energy to play with your kids or grandkids!
✅️ You'll be a great example to your kids. Imagine how more likely they are to look after their health if they've grown up seeing you look after yours.
✅️ you're less likely to suffer from falls when you're older.
✅️ Aging healthily. Think health span vs life span!

As a personal trainer, these are the most common mistakes that are preventing you from achieving the strong resilient body that you want.
✅️ Ego Lifting
This increase risk of injury which will halt your training and stop your progress.
It also makes the exercise less effective.
OWN it before increasing it!
✅️ Not following a structured plan
Changing exercises every day may increase the novelty but it will reduce process.
Improving your technique and slow increase load is the way to go.
✅️ Doing too much
More isn't always better. Recovery is just as important as the training itself.
Constantly destroying yourself with too many workouts will hamper Recovery and halt progress.
It's a good idea to be ACTIVE every day by getting your steps in though.
✅️ Under fuelling
You're body needs to gets enough nutrient dense food to recover, grow and function properly.
Whilst being in a calorie deficit is necessary if you need to lose some weight, over restricting will hamper recovery and progress.
