Although dressage is my passion, I really enjoy jump teaching and have clients who successfully compete in all disciplines. I don't only teach competition riders, many of my clients ride purely for recreation and I especially focus on helping nervous riders gain confidence.

Full weekend this week, yesterday was spend either recording for online tests or preparing for a ODE today (good luck Niamh). Today is a full pony day at Moorlands Equestrian Centre, with Leo celebrating his birthday with style.

Productive day yesterday, started off working Reggie on the long reins, trying to slowly encourage him to stretch forward and work more over his topline, finished the day teaching Michelle and Willow, working on walk pirouettes (boring photo so I chose some nice trot work instead 😀)

Very busy day today, Tina and Polly recorded online dressage tests, Liz and Adrian both had a good lesson on a slightly full of herself Hollie, I taught Rachel and her lovely Bella for the first time and finished the day at Kingswood Area Festival helping Michelle and Willow with their Elementary, where they scored their best ever Area Festival score. Time for bed I think 🤔

Not a great start to the weekend, too much sun for the last few days left me feeling rather unwell last night, so only got about an hrs sleep. Then half way to my horses this morning I got a flat tyre. Hopefully things improve, but it's not looking good. 😬

Well, I can't say I ever thought I'd be making semi-regular "Sausage posts" on fb, but here's this weeks. Even though he was distracted by a very persistent horse fly for most of the session, he tried really hard and even managed some very pleasing canter work.
