Today marks the start of Drowning Prevention Week 2026! We always dedicate 1 day to water safety at each school we visit to ensure all pupils are aware of the dangers of water.

So exited to be at JT Mat Rykneld Primary. The pools up, it’s almost ready for lessons on Monday.

It’s usually half term when it’s my birthday, but this year I got to spend it in one of my favourite places doing the thing I love. Pop up Pools to Schools, teaching children a life skill.

It’s been a miserable day outside due to Storm Babet, but we’ve had a fantastic day in the pop up
pool. It’s warm, it’s fun and the progress the children have made has been outstanding.
