Tamworth Ladies RUFC

Tamworth Women’s teams co captains have officially been announced!

After successfully leading the team last season after an injury lead our previous captain to step down, Elise Dickie has continued her role as co captain for this season.

Joining Elise is Emma March, a standout player who has shown her skillset not just within the Tamworth team, but also for the likes of Leicester County.

The two players were awarded their match day shirts this week, and are looking forward to leading the team through the upcoming season 👏

The tamworth women’s team have had the best time on tour together ❤️

We’ve tried paddle boarding, lazer quest, a sunny game of rounders that resulted in half the team being incredibly sunburnt, and some class nights out on the town (despite popworld being closed 💔)

We’re back to our usual training sessions now, so see you all Tuesday!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers from Tamworth Rugby Club who provided many of out volunteers out on the course this morning.

The summer holidays mean that many regular volunteers can't be with us every week which can leave us short of volunteers.

We’re buzzing to announce that we’ll be competing in the NC2 Midlands Central League this season!

Pre-season is in full swing, and we can’t wait to take on some new opponents, renew a few old rivalries, and get stuck into what promises to be a cracking season🔥

As the current situation continues, training for the Ladies team tonight will continue at The Rawlett School

Due to unforeseen circumstances our training location has changed. Instead of Wiggington Park, training tonight will now take place at The Rawlett School, Comberford Road, B79 9AA at 7:15pm tonight.
