Congratulations to John Slaght’s Friday night triples team who won the league after a successful season and collecting their trophy last night

Our next social event is a fun evening of Crown Green Bowls [no experience necessary!] followed by a pizza supper. All details are on the poster, and it promises to be a great evening! If you’re unable to get to the club to sign up, please phone or text Huw (07788 155552), and let him know of any dietary requirements, and he will add your name to the sheet.

Still looking for entries, to our open Triples. We have a maximum of 32 and not looking for anything too far away from that. All entry fees will be put into prizes/food for the day, so lots up for grabs. As usual a plate trophy also with prizes.

Entries close on the 10th September, Also a decision will be made if entries aren't sufficient.

Ahead of the new OSC season, Westlecot Bowls Club will be hosting an Open Singles Pre‑Season Tournament on Saturday 19 September.

It’s a great chance for players to get back on the green, enjoy some competitive match play, and sharpen up ahead of the OSC events.

Well done to Kevin Carter who has qualified for Leamington in the 2 Wood. Kev, will play is first game at Leamington on the 12th August! Massive good luck, the whole club is behind you.

Due to low numbers (possibly due to holidays and the extreme hot weather) the 70s evening on Saturday has been cancelled. The Social Team are hoping to re-arrange at a later date.’
