What an incredible day at the JES Shield yesterday! 🏉✨

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came down to support, cheer, and make the tournament such a fantastic success. The atmosphere was brilliant from start to finish!

🏆 JES SHIELD 2026 — WHAT A DAY! 🏆

Well… where do we even start?! 😂🌪️

With the crème de la crème of teams turning up for the JES Shield, it was never going to be an easy day — and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

There was some seriously sexy rugby played throughout the tournament 🔥🏉, with every team bringing their A-game, plenty of laughs, plenty of competition and some brilliant rugby from start to finish.

After a cracking day of action, it all came down to Neath Nukes vs Pontrhydyfen Saxonettes in the final… and what a final it was! 😮‍💨🔥

Both teams threw absolutely everything at it, but when the dust settled it was the Saxonettes who came out on top, becoming the JES Shield Champions for 2026! 🏆👏💛

And apparently the rugby gods decided that wasn’t dramatic enough…

The final was SO intense it created a literal hurricane 🌪️😂, bringing an incredible tournament to an end with some absolutely crazy scenes — gazebos flying, everyone scrambling and probably the most chaotic finish to a rugby tournament we’ll ever see! 🤣

A massive THANK YOU to every team who came along, every player who took part, everyone who helped organise the day and everyone who came down to support us. 💚💛

Brilliant rugby. Brilliant people. Brilliant atmosphere.

And one completely unplanned hurricane. 😂🌪️

What a fantastic match last night between the Scorpions and Briton Ferry Renettes

It is always an absolute pleasure playing against the renettes, what a great group of women to share the pitch with. We had a massive laugh with you during the game and topped it all off with a few drinks together afterwards. Cheers to a great game, and even better company! 🍻🙌
