No excuses though as training has been running all Summer at our Gorseinon venues, and now Dunvant is back too!

At G&K Martial Arts Academy, we’ve been proudly teaching in the Gorseinon and Dunvant/Killay areas for over 19 years, helping hundreds of students of all ages (4–70) get stronger both physically and mentally.

We are now even teaching children of children we've taught!

Our wonderful G&K team in Scotland this weekend at the ICO - International Combat Organisation Four Nations Scottish leg.

We are so proud of you all.

Thank you to Mr Hux as chief coach, and not forgetting Paul and Rob our referees and all supporters who attended.

Also thank you to Rob and Ryan again for driving our mini buses. Safe journey home and keeping everything crossed the drive home will be smooth and not as long as the journey up.

Thank you to our wonderful team of Instructors and Leaders who kept all the classes running smoothly in the Dojo on Friday and Saturday.

Due to Summer holidays, it’s a smaller than usual, but a determined team of G&K students attending the ICO - International Combat Organisation Four Nations Scottish leg. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We finish day 1 in 2nd place on todays’s top school leaderboard!

Some of the G&K team had up to a SEVENTEEN hour journey to get to Scotland with traffic chaos on the M6.

They arrived in Scotland at 3.30am this morning and were busy competing on the mats all day today!

A massive thank you to our heroes Rob Bevan and Ryan Miles our designated drivers- what an unexpected long journey they had to undertake.

Hope Rob, Ryan and all supporters and competitors have a good night’s sleep tonight. 😴

Congratulations to young Kait G, first place today on the top ten individuals list at the ICO Four Nations Scottish leg. 🥊

She was also awarded Junior Sportsperson earlier in the year at the Swansea Sports Awards.
