Also this weekend our home slope hosted the Midlands Regional qualifier.

16 of our young and old arrows took part with athletes from year 3 to year 12 representing their schools alongside their classmates from other ski clubs.

The race, organised by coach , was a great success. Many of our racers have qualified for the National Finals in Norwich next month.

Smiles all round from our newest skiers to our seasoned campaigners.

What a fantastic weekend we’ve had in Llandudno in the Going for Gold ⛷️⛷️ and North Wales Club National!

Hackett skied as Buzz lightyear 🚀 in team Infinity and Beyond with and
Isabelle and Olivia were Wendy and Tinkerbell 🧚 in team Swad Arrows 💙💛
And Erin put on her cape and skied as part of team Savage! 💚

The vibe on and off the slope was 🔥 and it’s fair to say that it didn’t matter whether you won or lost because everyone had a great day 👍🏼🫶🏻

On Sunday the ☀️ was shining once again for the NWCN.
It was great to see some of our young racers stepping back out on the slope, for what was only their second race of the season!

Lots of experience gained for the girls and a brilliant race to end the season!

Last week several of our Arrows were UNIQ Snowsports race camp Swadlincote Snowsports Centre and let’s just say, as usual the sun ☀️didn’t disappoint!
In the 5th heatwave of the summer it wasn’t just the sprinklers wetting down the slopes 🥵!
It didn’t seem to put athletes off , and there were lots of 🍦 and hydration breaks 💦 throughout the day.
