Boldmere St. Michaels Walking Football

Season 26/27 starts next weekend for all Walking Football League players in the O55s and O60s at the new Irish Centre, Billesley, playing in the BCWFL. We have been working hard pre-season and there is a lot of optimism around the Club. O65s start their campaign early September in the South Staffs League. We have welcomed a few new players into BSM WFC which has strengthened the Squads. We hope everyone enjoys themselves, remain fit and healthy and work together as a team. Onwards and Upwards

🟠🔵 Our Over 40s Women Bow Out of the FA Cup ⚽️

Our Over 40s Women's team bowed out of the FA Cup today, losing 3-1 to a very strong Boldmere St. Michaels side.

Despite the result, the team gave everything and can be incredibly proud of their efforts against quality opposition.

As a club, we continue to learn, develop and grow, and experiences like these will only make us stronger.

It was a scorching hot evening last night but 30 brave walking footballers turned up for a scintillating “round robin” hour on a smaller than normal pitch resulting in a 3 touch game at the end - followed by a beer or three afterwards. We welcomed 2 new players as well. Well done everyone - hopefully normal pitch size will resume after the summer holidays.
