A special thank you to our young volunteers. Most of them who once attended our own sessions. That's the whole point of what we do, so we've got a night out planned just for them to say thank you ♥️

Our team are out tonight too. They've earned it.

Starting school this September? So is this.

Our brand new Reception development sessions kick off on Monday 21st September at Monkwearmouth Academy. We've timed it deliberately, giving the new starters a couple of weeks to settle into school life first.

Two sessions to choose from each week:

Mondays, 5 to 6pm
Saturdays, 11am to 12 noon

These sessions are all about building confidence, making friends and having fun with the ball. FA qualified coaches, small groups, and every child gets a go. And when they're ready, there's a clear route into our teams and league football. We follow FA guidance, so no child plays competitive league football before their 6th birthday, although through the FA there are sometimes opportunities to play at 5.

What makes us different? We've been doing this since 2009. We're an FA Accredited, not-for-profit club with coaches qualified up to UEFA B licence. In summer we train on maintained grass at Monkwearmouth Academy, and in winter we move into quality indoor facilities. So your child trains every week, whatever the weather. We don't promise pro contracts. We promise a good coach, a good environment and a good club.

Our development sessions are phone free. No cameras in little faces, no filming every touch. Just children playing, making friends and being children.

Here's the best bit. September is completely free. Come along from the 21st, try the sessions, no obligation at all. Paid membership starts in October at £25 a month for one session a week, or £35 a month if your child wants to do both. Our sessions run right through the year, 44 weeks in all, only closing for the main school holiday weeks excluding the six week holidays.
