On a rainy, bank holiday Sunday in the depths of Hylton, a life lesson was handed out.

Absolute cracker of a game. Penalties, red cards, Adebayor moments & last minute winners.

After going 1-0 down the lads brought it level, then 2-1 down not long after the equaliser. Very easy to lose our heads and fade away but we galvanised & silenced the very vocal Hylton sideline. A blatant handball, red card for the offence and a penalty tucked away made it 2-2.

Beattie comes on changes the game and the link up play with Ryly Deehan (star boy) absolutely tore defence apart with a Last gasp winner from the lads, just reward for non stop graft and camaraderie. Appeals from Hylton sideline saying there going to torch beatties car not today boys football is the winner.

Scenes. First win on the board in style & sets up the bank holiday Sunday lovely. LONG old game that. Lessons been handed out. Never learn.
