Great start to our campaign! We flew straight into action and led 5-0 at half-time after a dominant first-half display. In the second half we eased off a little and gave our opponents more room to play, letting them grab a few goals, but we kept control all the way to the final whistle.

MATCH REPORT: Jarrow Youth Blues 1 - 3 Hylton CWFC 🔴⚪
What a way to kick off the Russell Foster Youth League Division 1 campaign! A fantastic performance on the road sees us take all three points home! ⚽🔥
First Half:
A tough, testing opening half playing against a strong wind. Jarrow took advantage of early conditions and grabbed a 1-0 lead with their only real chance at the start of the game. Our lads kept their heads down, stayed patient, and battled through to the break.
Second Half:
With the wind at our backs, the team showed what they are truly capable of! We dominated play from top to bottom. Flynn was in red-hot form, producing a masterclass performance by scoring a second-half HAT-TRICK to turn the game completely upside down! 🎩⚽⚽⚽
Man of the Match:
🏆 Thomas – Absolutely immense at the back! A true boss in defense, cutting out threats and holding the line brilliantly.
