😎 U9 Blacks Match report - Sunday 8th Aug V CLS PARK VIEW 😎

🎤 Coach John: “Our best performance so far in the summer grading matches! We started really well and kept things tight, with some great defending from Freddie and Olivia at the back. We then conceded a few goals, but they didn’t let their heads drop and pulled one back just before half time through some brilliant pressing from Toby, who nicked the ball off the keeper and calmly slotted it home.

⚽️ That seemed to give us a real boost, and in the second half they were all brilliant. Toby got another early goal, Oliver kept battling hard in midfield, Finn was fantastic at sweeping up at the back with his no-nonsense defending! 💪 Theo’s energy also made a real difference, working hard up and down the left wing.

Player of the Match 🏆 went to Joshua. It was his first full game in goal and I thought he was amazing! He made some really good saves, was brilliant at coming off his line to block shots, and his kicking has improved so much over the last few weeks. 👏🧤

A brilliant team performance from everyone, particularly second half. Lots of positives to take from today!

Coach John 🎤 “I don’t think the scoreline reflected the performance today, if we ironed out a few mistakes at the back and were a bit more clinical in front of goal it could have been a different story.

❤️ They’re still improving, giving it their all and come off smiling each week which is the main thing.

🏆 Player of the Match 🏆 Freddie - he was a rock in defence today, I don’t think he missed a single tackle and played some brilliant passes out from the back 👏🏼
