Sudbury Rowing Club is situated five minutes from the centre of Sudbury on the Suffolk side of the River Stour, in the middle of scenic Constable country. Rowing and sculling take place on a 1500m stretch of water between a weir at one end of the river and a low bridge with shallow water at the other. Today, we’re proud to spotlight two of our Masters members, Amelia and Martha, as they prepare to take on one of the world’s most prestigious races — the London Marathon.

Fours Head Competition Update
A brilliant Saturday on the Tideway with two senior quads racing — both featuring a mix of juniors gaining valuable experience on the big stage.
Our Women’s Quad put in a fantastic performance, finishing 11th out of 40 – a really strong result.
The Men’s Quad finished a very respectable 23rd out of 32, especially impressive with two juniors stepping in last minute.
Well done to everyone involved – great racing and great experience all round! Keep an eye out for upcoming posts on our Masters squads that raced today!!

🚣♂️ Huge well done to Harry, who raced at the GB Senior & U23 Trials in Boston this weekend!
He smashed out a big PB on the 2km erg on Saturday 💪 and followed it up with a strong 5km row on Sunday too 👏
Representing both Oxford Brookes and Sudbury RC — amazing effort, Harry! We’re all so proud 🙌💜
