🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️ Captain’s Charity Day – What a Fantastic Day! 💙

What a brilliant day we had for our Captain’s Charity Day, raising money in support of Prostate Cancer!

With a full field of members and guests, the course was buzzing from the moment everyone arrived. Thankfully, the weather played its part once again, giving us another beautiful day for some great golf, plenty of laughs and a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the course! ☀️⛳

There were some great scores coming in throughout the day, with everyone battling it out while enjoying the occasion and supporting a very important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, bought raffle tickets and helped make the day such a success.

We are delighted to have raised over £4,000 for Prostate Cancer — an absolutely fantastic total and one that everyone involved should be incredibly proud of. 💙

A massive thank you to our Captains, volunteers, staff, members, guests and all of our generous supporters.

🏆 FESTIVAL WEEK FINALE! 🏆

The final day of Festival Week certainly didn’t disappoint! A fantastic field of over 100 golfers headed out onto the course, all hoping to get their hands on the coveted Festival Trophy. ⛳️

As the scores came in, one name stayed firmly at the top… Stephen Ironside! 👏

Stephen claimed this year’s trophy with an impressive 41 points — a fantastic score and a well-deserved win! 🏆👏

What a memorable week it’s been, packed with great golf, plenty of laughs, fantastic food and, most importantly, great company.

A huge thank you to all our members who got involved and helped make Festival Week one to remember. ❤️

🏆 Thursday’s Daytime Event – The Kiskadee Trophy! 🏆

Thursday saw the historical 10-hole Kiskadee Trophy take centre stage! ⛳️

Played mainly on the old side of the course in the Greensomes format, it was another fantastic turnout, with the Old & Bold out in force to host everyone. A great mix of golf, laughs and plenty of competition!

What a way to round off the evening golf! ⛳️

The eagerly anticipated Greenkeepers’ Challenge certainly didn’t disappoint. This year’s course setup had more twists, turns and surprises than ever before, with some very creative hole locations that had everyone scratching their heads! 😅

It wasn’t just the pin positions either – there were plenty of fun obstacles along the way, making for an evening full of laughs, friendly competition and unforgettable moments.

A huge thank you to our greenkeeping team for putting together such a fantastic event. It was challenging, frustrating at times… but above all, brilliant fun! 👏🌳⛳

The highlight of the week for many has to be our Foxes & Rabbits evening! 🦊🐰

One of the most popular events of Festival Week, it was fantastic to see so many members, friends and families of all ages out on the course enjoying a fun evening together. The laughter, friendly competition and great atmosphere made it another memorable night at Newton Green.

The evening was rounded off perfectly with delicious pizza and the prize presentation. Well done to Dan and his dad!

🌞 Midweek Madness at Festival Week! 🌞

After the recent heatwave, today’s cooler conditions made for perfect golfing weather as a full field took to the course for the ever-popular WHAGS Better Ball competition.

A huge congratulations to our champions Yvonne, Janet, Dan and Tony, who came out on top with a fantastic performance! 🏆👏

Well played to everyone who took part – another brilliant day full of great golf, plenty of laughs, and the fantastic Festival Week atmosphere. On to tomorrow! ⛳🎉

Day 2 of Festival Week continued in the glorious summer sunshine, and today’s ever-popular Delaney Scramble certainly didn’t disappoint! ☀️⛳

A huge congratulations to Ian, Brian, Dave and Julie, who came out on top with a fantastic winning score. 👏🏆

Festival Week got off to a fantastic start with some incredible scoring! ⛳️

Today’s competition was 3 Clubs and a Putter, with a fantastic field of nearly 80 golfers heading out armed with just three clubs of their choice and a putter to see what they could produce.

Coming out on top with a phenomenal 90 points were Adrian, Olive and Pete – an outstanding score. 👏

A huge well done to everyone who took part and made it such a great start to Festival Week. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!
