🏐 Q1 — Vipers 10–10 Phoenix Blaze
A very even opening quarter, with both teams coming out fighting. Vipers’ defensive pressure was there from the start, forcing Phoenix into difficult passes and creating opportunities from turnovers. Neither team could break away, leaving the scores level at 10–10.
🏐 Q2 — Vipers 19–17 Phoenix Blaze
Vipers started to find their groove in the second quarter. The defensive unit really stepped up, working hard to close down space and challenge every pass. Turnovers were created through some excellent pressure, allowing Vipers to capitalise at the attacking end and edge into a 19–17 lead at half time.
🏐 Q3 — Vipers 26–23 Phoenix Blaze
Another very even quarter, with neither team willing to back down. Vipers continued to work hard defensively, making Phoenix work for every ball and disrupting their attacking flow. Patient pressure created valuable turnovers, which Vipers were able to turn into goals, maintaining their advantage at 26–23.
🏐 Q4 — Vipers 35–30 Phoenix Blaze
The final quarter remained a tight battle, with both teams fighting hard for every possession. But with around five minutes remaining, Vipers found another gear. The defensive pressure intensified, forcing mistakes and creating vital turnovers at a crucial stage of the game.

🔥 Opposition’s Player — Ali
Joining the Vipers for just a week, Ali certainly made an entrance! She created all sorts of problems for Blaze, applying relentless pressure and turning the ball over left, right and centre. A defensive menace on the court!
💪 Captain’s Player — Tor
Wow, what a performance from Tor! With the defence mixed up, Tor stepped up, took charge and led from the back. She made sure not a single shot was made easy, applying constant pressure and making life difficult for the Blaze attack. A huge performance when the team needed it most!
🌟 Team’s Player — Danni
Stepping up as captain, the nerves certainly didn’t show! Danni put out a stellar shooting performance, showing great composure under pressure while also leading the team from the front. A fantastic performance both on court and in her leadership role, helping guide the Vipers to victory.
