‼️Heat stroke can happen fast — especially during walks, car journeys, or even time in the garden
Keep your dog safe by:
🐾 Walking early morning or late evening
💧 Providing plenty of fresh water
🌳 Sticking to shaded areas
🚫 Never leaving dogs in cars
🔥 Checking pavements before walks

⚠️ Know the signs: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

🐶Flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds like Pugs, French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, and Shih Tzus can overheat very quickly because their shorter airways make it harder to breathe and cool themselves down.

🐩 Dogs with thick/ heavy and double coats — such as Huskies, Chow Chows, Newfoundlands, Poms, GSDS, & Golden Retrievers — can also find it difficult to regulate their body temperature in extreme heat.
