Today we welcomed a full field to our last mixed open of the year with the Nan Cook Trophy being played.

The weather was kinder than the initial forecast, but some heavy showers still didn’t dampen the scores! ☔️

Our winners, by a margin of 4 shots with a fantastic nett score of 62 was Les Baird & Susan Hanlin 🏆👏

Junior Club Championship Results

We recently played our Junior Club Championship and our congratulations goes to Riley Gratton for his solid round of 72 to secure the championship. 🏆

Riley first won the trophy in 2024 and claimed it back from defending champion Murray Ramsay by a single stoke.

Well done Riley 👏

This afternoon we’ve had Ladies European Tour player Georgia Hall spend time on our Practice Area and Course. 🏌️‍♀️

Georgia is heading to the Scottish Open at Dundonald this week and we wish her all the best! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆

Thank you to everyone who participated throughout our Golf Week. We were blessed with amazing weather, incredible scoring and great support.

🎯 Shot of the week goes to our own member Glenda Dewar who during the Par 3 Open event on Friday had a Hole In One! The 2nd hole on the Dunskey Course was playing 165 yards and after checking beyond the green the ball was then found in the hole! Well done Glenda 👏

🏆 The Par 3 Open event was won by Frances McMillan. Well done!

Congratulations to club member Connor Gibson for his fantastic round today to win the Sam Doran’s Junior Open trophy. 🏆

A lot of hard work recently has paid dividends with a brilliant score of 40pts. 👏

It was great to see the buzz of junior competitors around the club today and a big thank you to everyone who travelled to play in the event which is also part of the South of Scotland Junior Order of Merit Series.

We’ve had another beautiful day for the Gents Senior Open. An amazing turn out of 114 players competed in the sun!

🏆 Congratulations to our overall winner Daniel Gibson with an excellent 40pts.

👏 The scratch prize was won by club member Jerry White with 33pts. Congratulations also go to all of today’s prize winners.

Tomorrow is the turn for junior players to compete in our Golf Week with the Sam Doran’s Junior Open. We’ve got a terrific entry so far but have added additional tee times if anyone wishes to play.
