What a summer it has been for our Strabane youth boys!

It’s been brilliant to see so many of our lads getting opportunities with the Ulster age-grade squads and flying the Strabane colours! 🔴🟡⚫🏉

👏 Logan Cooke – great to see Logan turning out again with the Ulster U18 Clubs and continuing his development.

💪 Jack Hannan – unfortunately has been waiting on his opportunity while recovering from a hamstring strain. Hopefully he’ll be back to full fitness soon and get his chance.

🏉 Dawson Crawford – put in an eye-catching performance with the Ulster U17s on a tough day against Munster.

💪 Andrew McGarrigle & Max Mitchell – unfortunately both picked up injuries the week before the Munster game, ruling them out of the match. Hopefully both boys will be back fit and involved again very soon.

⭐ Jack Blee & Alfie Boyle – both put in brilliant performances against Munster and again at the Blitz. A special mention to Jack, who also had the huge honour of captaining the Ulster U16s. A fantastic achievement and great experience for both boys.

☀️ Ben Keys – unfortunately missed out on the match against Munster due to holidays, but has been involved throughout the Ulster summer programme.

👏 A big thank you to all the Ulster coaches for the time, effort and commitment they continue to put into the boys and for helping with their ongoing development. It’s greatly appreciated.

Keep pushing, boys. Keep learning, developing and taking every opportunity when it comes! 💪🏉

Strabane - U16 A & B Teams

Lads, pre-season training officially kicks off on Monday 3rd August at Bradley Way.

⏰ 7:00pm–8:30pm

Can everyone please make a massive effort to be there? A strong start will set the standard for the season ahead.

After training, we’ll head into the clubhouse to:

🏉 Introduce our new coaches, who bring a wealth of experience from the All-Ireland League and Ulster Junior rugby.

🎯 Discuss how we can go one step further than we did two years ago.

🏖️ Share plans for our beach day, touch rugby, fun games and a BBQ afterwards.

Please check in with your friends and make sure everyone—especially all of last season’s U14s—has been added to WhatsApp group. We don’t want anyone missing out. If you’re new to the club you are also very welcome.
