Fuel for performance
Hydration in the heat ☀️
Double your fluid intake as a rough guide. E.g 1.2 litres every hour for the average person
Add electrolytes to help prevent cramps
If you are training over 1 hour, add some carbs in too (ideally a mix with electrolytes is best)
My favourite is Carbmax by
Stay hydrated
Put your conditioning session at the right time
Best option: have a separate conditioning session alltogether
Next best: at the end of your gym session
Avoiding it all together: start off with the conditioning so at least you get it done
