📊 HALF-WAY SEASON REVIEW 🏏

Mr Social Media has not been doing his job very well and hasn’t been posting weekly results 🤦🏼‍♂️ so here is a review of the season so far…

As we have passed the halfway stage of the season, all four of our senior sides remain firmly in the mix, with plenty still to play for.

A quick look at where we stand:

🏏 1st XI – 5th in Division 2, with plenty of cricket left to climb the table.

🏏 2nd XI – Sitting 2nd in Division 5, just 2 points off top spot and pushing hard for promotion.

🏏 3rd XI – 4th in Division 7, only 31 points separating 4th from 1st in a wide-open promotion race.

🏏 4th XI – 3rd in Division 9, just 7 points off second place and well placed to challenge in the second half of the season.

With the business end of the campaign still to come, we’re looking forward to a strong finish across the club.

A brilliant win for our Ladies Softball side, who beat Cookhill by 6 runs! 👏🏏

We posted 119/1 from our 20 overs before restricting Cookhill to 113/6.

⭐ Laura Crofts-Viney starred with an outstanding all-round performance:
