As we launch back into Volleyball for 26/27, I’m pleased to announce at very short notice that the 2026 AGM and the awards for season 25/26 will be held next Thursday at Pedmore Cricket Club.

We had real difficulty organising this in the summer, so apologies for the later running. The AGM will be from 6:30-7:30 and people who only want to attend the awards should arrive from 7:30.

We will be celebrating our Men’s 1 & 2 & our Shield winning ladies. Players of the year etc. + saying goodbye to those players leaving for pastures new.

Apologies for the short notice but we hope as many of you as possible will be able to attend. The bar will be open!

What a way to end our season with the Ladies taking an epic WMVA Shield Final in a 5 set win against a fantastic , coming from behind to take the 5th 15-12. Credit to the whole squad, captain for the final Grace and of course to the club captain Alexa who spent the afternoon with Take That instead, for her performances on the way to the final. Always amazing to finish with a medal and even better when it’s a gold one!

LADIES as we draw to the close of another successful season for our senior women’s teams including the shield finals on Saturday, we start looking towards next season. As ever our junior pathways generate players who reach 18 and expand their opportunities through higher education so we are looking to strengthen our squad with experienced players to help us continue to support a great mix of junior developers and existing players in the top level of our regional league.

We have established NVL links via and opportunities to play and coach if you have the relevant experience, ambition and qualifications. We will be training over the summer and this is a great chance train with the team.

For inexperienced players or those over 18 wishing to give it a go we also have our now well established recreational sessions for adults and for juniors we continue to support beginners and developers, please see the website for details.

Ladies completed their task this afternoon with a 3-0 semi-final win over. Birmingham City 2 and will now play for the WMVA Shield next Saturday at Coventry AT7.
