You just have to be there.
Miles Club | Hagley
Fancy joining us? We walk around Hagley, Clent Hills, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, Belbroughton, Halesowen, Kidderminster and local areas. Message me “WALK” and I’ll send you the details.
Some would say there are better things to do at 5:30am, but not Miles Club members.
Even Kirsty, who has never considered herself a morning person, is now on her 3rd early walk this week.
Why?
Your day feels more productive after a walk. You feel better because you’ve already done something for yourself before 7am.
Does a lie-in feel the same way? I doubt it.
This morning, 15 of us went out and walked to the Wychbury Obelisk, climbed a steep hill and felt better for it.
Walk, talk and repeat.
That’s what we’re about ❤️

Some people will see a few walking tops.
I see friendships, early mornings, muddy boots, coffee after walks, people who have gone from struggling to stay active to fitting walking into their lives so consistently that some now cover nearly 300 miles in a month.
These aren’t just T-shirts. They’re a reminder that you’re part of something. A local walking club where people know your name, notice when you’re missing, celebrate your progress and make getting outside feel normal again.
I’m genuinely proud of what Miles Club has become. Every week I’m surrounded by people who inspire me just as much as I hope the club inspires them.
A massive thank you to Dave at Sports Shop Hagley for producing these and helping keep the whole project local. I can’t wait to see these out on our walks around Hagley, Stourbridge, Clent, Kinver and the surrounding countryside.
If you’ve been thinking about joining a local walking club, this is your sign. ❤️

These are upcoming Miles Club walks.
And yes, there are 8 of them next week.
Some are early. Some are mid-morning. Some are evening. Because the whole point of Miles Club is helping people move more consistently around actual life.
People join for a walk, but they stay because it becomes part of their week.
We’ve got monthly step challenges with prizes, coffee stops, our Malvern hike coming up, and sometimes extra little perks for members too.
Members have said their families are walking more now. People who were doing 100 miles a month are now doing over 280 and all around full time work and family life. And the best thing anyone has said to me is that Miles Club feels like “ours”.
That’s exactly what I wanted to build 🤍
If you’d like to come and see what it’s about, your first walk is free.
Miles Club is more than a walking club.
Message me with which walk you’d like to join and I’ll book you on.
Today’s Miles Club walk was a lovely midweek treat. ☀️
We walked a total of 6.5km through the fields behind Haybridge School, through Stourbridge Golf Club, Oldswinford Cricket Club, with a well-earned stop at Elmfield Café for coffee and cake. The frappe was 👌🏼then headed into Mary Stevens Park...
If you haven’t been to Elmfield Courtyard Café yet, it’s well worth a visit. It’s open during term time and a perfect excuse to get out for a walk.

On Saturday some of our Miles Club members swapped walking boots for an hour of complete stillness in Halesowen.
We had our first sound bath experience with Stephanie at Frequensoul, and it was included as a free members’ event.
Some people relaxed.
Some fell asleep.
We all walked out feeling calmer than we walked in.
I started Miles Club to help people walk more, but it’s become so much more than that.
It’s trying new things.
Meeting people you probably would never have met otherwise.
Supporting local businesses.
And creating a community that looks after each other.
And next time, we’ll walk there too.
Miles Club is a walking club, but mostly it’s about people.

If you’re local to Hagley, Stourbridge, Blakedown, Churchill or Broome and you’ve been meaning to get out for more walks, this is your sign.
We do everything from 5km walks to 7–9km routes around the fields behind Haybridge, Stourbridge, Oldswinford, Broome, Stourbridge Golf Club, Iverley, Clent and beyond. On 11th July we’re heading to Malvern Hills, and we’ve even done a sound bath in Halesowen that was free for members 🤍
Miles Club has become so much more than walking. We help each other out outside of the walks too. We laugh, we take the mick, we share homemade sauerkraut, and somewhere along the way strangers become familiar faces. I genuinely can’t imagine my life without it now.
If you’d like to come along, message “CLUB” for the details. Your first walk is free.
Did you know it only takes 30 mins to walk to Mary Stevens Park from Hagley?
Some hidden paths can turn the walk into a longer one..
Today’s Miles Club walk was one of my favourite routes.
We met at 5:30am, walked 8km to Mary Stevens Park via the fields behind Haybridge School, then Stourbridge Golf Club and Oldswinford Cricket Club. We came out on the ring road and went through the main gates of Mary Stevens Park.
And by 7am we had already done 10k steps.
Laughed, shed some tears, talked about the important stuff..
