Entrar Dance is a dance school based in the Norton/Stourbridge area that runs every Saturday morning at St Michael’s Church all year round. For all levels and ages, we offer styles in hip hop, ballet, jazz and contemporary. 👯

Our aim is to encourage physical movement/skills through dancing whilst learning different techniques and styles to help develop expressive skills, confidence, creativity and build friendships 🤸🪩🧑‍🩰

At Entrar Dance, we focus providing performance opportunities and offer a supportive space our dancers to express themselves through movement every week. No exams, no syllabus. Just a space to dance and have the most fun! 😀💜

Our classes are as follows;
💜 Mini Movers: 3-5 years (beginners)
💜 Mini Groovers: 3-6 years (intermediate)

Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s dance classes again due to the excessive heat in the hall. As our classes are very physical, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our dancers must come first.

☀️ July - August Classes at Entrar Dance ☀️

We have had a busy start to the summer with performance opportunities but we are back to our training classes to continue the development of our techniques and understanding of styles! 🩰💃👯‍♂️🕺🏽

We are introducing classes to progress our tricks and skills as well as body conditioning to really learn the importance of warm ups and cool downs and benefits of improving our flexibility 🙆🏽‍♀️🤸🏽‍♀️

☀️ Our First Summer Fair Performance! ☀️

Yesterday, our Dance Diva’s and Dance Queen’s completed their first performance of the year! 👏🏽

We were excited to be invited to Ridgefest at the Ridge Primary school to perform infront of an audience, and although it was extremely hot and sunny, our dancers did incredible and we are so proud of them! ☀️👯‍♀️

We worked so hard for 6 weeks to create and learn a dance piece for each group, and the commitment and professionalism from our dancers were seconds to none. Their hard work truly paid off yesterday, resulting in a brilliant performance, smiles of faces and lots of ice cream to cool down! 🍦🧊🥵

A huge thank you to our dance parents, and families, for supporting our dancers yesterday! We had an amazing turnout and a huge audience to support the girls, so thank you for turning up and supporting us 💜😊

To our Dance Divas and Dance Queens, thank you for your energy, commitment, and excitement. Very blessed to have a lovely bunch of girls that inspires us everyday. Onto the next one! 👏🏽💜😊

⭐️ Maggie is this week’s dance star! ⭐️

Well done to our Mini Groover Maggie for receiving this week’s dance star and a week with Rainbow!

During Saturday’s class, Maggie showed determination, confidence and energy! Whilst practising new Hip-Hop poses on the mat, Maggie pushed herself out of her comfort zone and tried the poses and loved it! 🤸🏽‍♀️

Maggie continued to show great skills when performing a Hip-Hop travel across the room, and was confident in doing so! 😊

Well done to you Maggie. We are super proud! ⭐️🌈

🤫👯‍♂️ What Have We Been Up To? 👯‍♂️🤫

We have been a little quiet on our socials but super busy in class so we wanted to share some footage from our Mini’s classes from the last couple of weeks! 🐝

Our Mini Mover’s and Groover’s have been practising their Hip-Hop dancing with new exercises that we have introduced to help encourage skills and technique 🕺🏽

We have also began learning a Hip-Hop dance (to K-Pop Demon Hunter’s of course), which allows the challenging skills to grow within our dancers such as movement memory, counting, and precision! 🔢💭

We are not just a dance school, we are a community and friends who make/share memories every Saturday morning 🫶🏼

❕Our Dance Diva Daisy has taken part in a Race for Life this morning!
Congratulations to both Daisy and her mommy Lucie for completing the race and raising money for Daisy’s nanny treatment. We are super proud!
