Another few days rental of three kayaks on the West Side. Always a pleasure to visit Adroil beach 😀.
Beach Bay cottage looks amazing with stunning views (although photo is a screen shot from the Google pages as it was either wet and windy or dark when I was dropping off or collecting the equipment)

Amazing roots found at the base of exposed peat banks on the edge of Loch Trealabhal. I assume there must have been a forest here a few thousand years ago. Beautiful and majestic. There is so much to this island to explore, although this trip was fairly off the beaten track.

A very windy trip in the lochs north of Balallan: Loch Trealabhal, Loch Arigh na Ceargaich, and Loch Cuthaig, but we get a little blue sky and very little rain. We'll leave the planned bigger trip across to Grimersta for another time.

Dropping off kayaks and a paddleboard at Old Mission House in Maraig, Harris. Great access to the sea loch. Views to rival Grey Goose Cottage 😀

We also offer self catering accommodation in Keose Glebe at with special deals including kayaks and paddleboards for use on Loch Keose and Loch Erisort. Check out www.greygoosehebrides.com for late availability.

Lewis and Harris have thousands of inland lochs. If you're a hiker, trail runner, or cyclist packrafts are a great way to paddleexplore and traverse some of these. They weigh only 2kg, fit in a rucksack and are inflated by the bag they come in. Photos taken on lovely hike from Hushinish, Harris.

Contact us if you're interested in trying one out.
