Stroud Squash Rackets Club Stroud Squash Club is now based at Wycliffe School in Regent Street. The Club started playing at Wycliffe College Sports Hall in May 2021.

Stroud Squash Club is now based at Wyclifffe College Sports Hall off Regent Street, Stonehouse. The Squash Club was started in 1971 by the Stroud Rugby Club at Fromehall Park in order to generate an additional revenue stream and used the two "Banbury" style squash courts until closed of the courts in 2020. The Club shares x3 high-quality glass-back courts with the College students so access to use the courts is limited during term-time.

🎾 A small change with a big meaning 🎾

You may have noticed our logo looks a little different this week! In support of Women's Squash Week, Stroud Squash Rackets Club has given our branding a temporary update — celebrating the women who play, coach, volunteer, and grow squash in our club and community.

Here's to more women picking up a racket, more space on court, and more voices in the sport we love. 💛

STROUD Squash Club is hosting a Women's Taster Session this Saturday morning — come try something new, meet other women in the club, and have a go at squash in a friendly, no-pressure setting. Whether you're a total beginner or just haven't picked up a racket in years, this one's for you!

All equipment provided, all levels welcome. 💪

🏆 STROUD SQUASH CLUB HANDICAP TOURNAMENT 2026 🏆

What a day! Our handicap tournament was held today and it did not disappoint — some really tight, competitive matches out there and a brilliant atmosphere throughout. A great day was had by all! 🎾

Huge congratulations to all the players who took part — but a special shoutout to our prize winners:

🎾 BUSY NIGHT AT STROUD SQUASH CLUB! 🎾

Courts 2 and 3 were PACKED tonight — and even more players were queuing up to get on! So how'd we manage it? 6 players sharing Court 1 (7 after this photo!), all rotating like clockwork thanks to a few simple ground rules. Zero chaos, maximum squash. 💪

💜🎾 WOMEN IN SQUASH WEEK | 15th–21st SEPTEMBER 🎾💜

Ever wondered what squash is all about, but never quite felt brave enough to give it a go?

This is your invitation! 🙌

To celebrate Women in Squash Week, Stroud Squash Club is opening its doors to women who are curious about trying squash in a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment.

On Saturday 19th September, 10am–12pm, our coach Carys Jones will be running a special 2-hour session designed for women of all abilities — including complete beginners. 💪🎾

✨ No previous squash experience needed
✨ No need to be super-fit or competitive
✨ Rackets and goggles provided
✨ Just bring clean indoor shoes
✨ Only 9 places available so everyone gets plenty of coaching and attention
✨ £15 per person

Whether you're looking for a new sport, a way to get active, to meet some new people, or simply fancy trying something different, we'd love to welcome you.

🌞🏸 Stroud Squash Club Summer Social! 🏸🌞

What a fantastic evening at the Badger Pub in Eastington for our summer social! 🍻☀️

It was brilliant to see such a great turnout from our members — lots of laughs, great food and drink, and plenty of chat about all things squash (and probably a few things that had nothing to do with squash! 😂).

Most importantly, it was a lovely chance to get together off court, catch up and celebrate what a great club we have. 💙

And there are some very exciting plans in the pipeline for the future of Stroud Squash Club… watch this space! 👀🏸

This good boy has taken his umpire duties *very* seriously today — front row seat, laser focus, not missing a single rally. Forget hawkeye, we've got houndeye 👀

No arguing with this ref's calls. 10/10 concentration, would book him again.
