💦 AQUA ZUMBA TIME CHANGE! 🕺

If you turn up today at 11.30am expecting to join Shona for Aqua Zumba you’re going to be sorely disappointed when you’re met with a locked door! 🤦‍♀️

We’re now on our late season timetable so Tuesday Aqua Zumba has moved to 2pm-3pm.

No booking required. Just pay your normal pool entry fee and join in! Suitable for all abilities and the pool remains open to all users during the session.

Whether you’re a regular or fancy giving it a try for the first time come along for great music, plenty of laughs and a fantastic workout in the water! 😊

So much has changed since then but the pool is still making memories today. And with just TWO WEEKS left of our 2026 season there’s still time to make some more. 🙌

🐇🦎 2.00 to 4.00 pm we have the return of someone who is a favourite of our youngest visitors. The Critter Keeper with bring along a variety of different interesting creatures for you to see, photograph and learn about.

🏊 You will find our full timetable of events and answers to many FAQs in the post pinned at the top of our page. There is no extra charge or booking required for any of the above, and the pool remains open to everyone during all our events.

🚘 As always, the car park is very busy but there is lots of free parking in Baird Park directly across the road. Just follow the yellow signs from the roundabout.

🐾🌊 SAVE THE DATE: DOGGY SWIMS ARE BACK!

Once the pool closes for the season on Sunday 6th September we’ll be getting ready to welcome some very special four-legged swimmers! After the huge success of last year’s Doggy Swim we’re back with two dates this year to help meet demand:

Wednesday 9 September | Evening
Saturday 12 September | Daytime

NB: These sessions take place after the pool has closed to humans for the summer and before we switch to cold water swimming. The pool will be closed and cleaned before the cold water swim sessions begin.

Last year this was the hottest ticket in town and was fully booked within minutes so this is your early warning to save the date and watch our page for further updates.

Last year we had a photography student with us who used the opportunity to create a portfolio of dog swimming and it was amazing, if anyone is studying photography and wants to do the same this year DM us and we will make contact.

It's back to school in Aberdeenshire tomorrow which means a switch from peak season to late season timetable for the pool.

We're still open 7 days a week until Sunday 6th September but now have a 1pm opening from Monday to Friday. Zumba with Shona switches to 2pm on Tuesdays and Swoopee now only comes out at the weekend.

We’ve got just TWO DAYS left of our 2026 peak season opening hours before Aberdeenshire schools go back on Wednesday 19th August and we switch to our late season timetable.

We’ll remain OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK right through until Sunday 6th September. From Wednesday 19th August, we simply switch to a 1.00 pm opening for Monday to Friday. So there is still a full THREE WEEKS of swimming left this season!
