No fewer than six Stonehaven Phoenix players take on 3rd Knightriders on Saturday at Mineralwell, coached from the sidelines by Clive Hinchcliffe. The Club President Namib Oosterhuizen will Captain this one as he used to in previous iterations of the 2nd XI.

Expecting a strong opposition they will be backed up by the bowling of Alex Beveridge and Ardash Bhuvanendran and the batting of Prakash Srinivasan.

Stonehaven 1st XI host Stoneywood Dyce at Mineralwell, hoping that the home side can repeat the solid batting while the opposition find imagined demons in the pitch, like last week.
Joining Jason Gouw's team this week is run machine Nathan MacAulay-Dicks and Zafeer Hussain, returning from injury, who will add some depth and fire to the bowling line-up.

The return of the King, as Nigel Captain's the 2nd XI who will enjoy their visit to the ground of Aberdeenshire Cricket Club on Sunday as they take on Mannofield 3rd XI.

The Thistle 1st XI open their 2025 campaign against 2nd Mannofield at Mineralwell on Saturday with New Captain Jason Gouws at the helm.
The promising Stonehaven Phoenix youngsters Touqeer Hussain and Alfie Sanderson are included on merit and Prakash Srinivasan makes his debut for Stonehaven.

What a grand event. Super turn out. Great day out for all the family as the parents took on Stonehaven Phoenix. Looked like the juniors were getting the upper hand on occasion.

In the Senior Single Wicket Competition, Jason Gouws won in the final against Vithya Ramasamy, fitting that these two should have met, having both had the most success for Thistle thoughout 2024.

Thanks to all who made it such a success in attending and bringing kebabs, cakes and strawberries to the BBQ. The Charles McHardy burgers went down a treat too.

Thistle travel to the notorious pitch of Inverdee on Saturday in what will prove to be a season-defining game against Aberdeen Tigers. Tied second in the league on 365 each after 14 games the rival teams will duke it out for the possibility of Grade 2 next season.

For the first time in over a year Stonehaven will have two Hinchcliffe's in the team as the number 4 shirt appears with Drew Hinchcliffe alongside brother Clive. Drew likely will add depth to the batting with his experience. Muhammad Zuhair also makes his debut for Thistle tomorrow.

The two sides have not always seen eye to eye but it is hoped tomorrow's match will be a clean affair. Neutral umpires have been requested however.
