Training every Mon & Wed at 18:00 and Sat at 09:30.

Tees Valley Dragons (racing as Powerhouse DBRC) is a vibrant and developing water sports club located in Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside. The club has members of all ages, abilities and backgrounds who train together on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. New members are always welcome to join us at any of our training sessions. Don't worry, you won't be expected to turn up to every session – we welcome all levels of commitment, from the serious athletes to the casual social/fun paddlers. To get involved, and arrange your free taster session contact us. We are member of the British Dragon Boat Association and compete in National League events, as well as hosting race meets which attract teams from all over the country. We also support requests for charity fundraising & corporate events, major festivals and regattas.

Our next free 5K AquaPaddle event is on Sunday 6th September in Stockton. Open to all abilities, everyone is welcome! 🛶🏄‍♀️🌊🤩

If you own a boat, canoe or paddleboard, this is for you and it is FREE. All you need to do is sign up, choose your craft and register for the event. No cost, all fun! It’s not a race—it’s all about getting on the water, staying active and having fun!

Our event is located on the river Tees, we launch at the River Tees Watersports Centre. Parking is available at the Riverside council car park.

☀️🛶 Paddle to the Pub – Yarm! 🍻

What better way to spend a sunny day than out on the water with great friends! 🌞

We set off from Stockton with our friends from Three River Serpents 3RS and Steel City Beavers Dragon Boat Racing Team for a fantastic paddle over to Yarm.

Our fleet for the day included a dragon boat, OC6 and two V1s, making for a brilliant mix of boats and plenty of fun on the water. 🐉🚣‍♀️

After a great paddle, we stopped off at the pub in Yarm for some lovely food, a couple of drinks and, most importantly, great company. ❤️🍽️🍺

Then it was back on the water for the return journey, rounding off a brilliant day of paddling, sunshine and friendship.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable day! 🙌

Yesterday was a wonderful day on the Tyne as Middlesbrough Outrigger Canoe Club teamed up with Three River Serpents 3RS to take part in the Great Tyne Row 🌊🛶

Racing in Wa’a’lele, the crew had a fantastic time paddling together, enjoying the river and taking in the sights along the way.

Thank you to everyone who made it such an enjoyable day 💙

Looking for a great way to start your Sunday? Come along to AquaPaddle Stockton on Sunday 9th August for a free, fun and friendly 5km paddle on the River Tees.

Everyone is welcome - paddle at your own pace, enjoy the company and have your time recorded if you’d like to track your progress. It’s not a race—it’s all about getting on the water, staying active and having fun!

Race 6: Nottingham 🐉🐲

We had an amazing race day teaming up with Cambridgeshire Royals Dragon Boat Team! From the first race to the last, the atmosphere was full of energy, teamwork, and great sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to Notts Anaconda Dragon Boat Club for hosting and British Dragon Boat Racing Association for a brilliant race day. Days like these remind us why we love our sport and the incredible community that comes with it. Also thanks to everyone who jumped in the boat and helped us race, we really appreciate it!

We’re already looking forward to Nationals in September! 💪
