🏃‍♂️ Track Tuesday 🌙

The dark nights are starting to draw in, but that doesn’t stop the TRC crew showing up and putting in the work under the floodlights 💪🏼

A tough pyramid session tonight and some seriously solid efforts from everyone. Plenty of graft, plenty of sweat and, as always, plenty of laughs along the way.

Great vibes around the track and brilliant to see so many new faces getting stuck in. This is what TRC is all about 🙌

🏃‍♂️ Track Tuesday 🏃‍♀️

Another quality Track session ticked off! 💪🔥 A great mix of controlled efforts and short, sharp bursts to build aerobic fitness, speed endurance and the ability to change gear when tired.

For those who have yet to attend our Track sessions, our workouts are based on timed intervals and perceived effort rather than pace or distance, making them accessible to all abilities. You simply work at the effort that’s right for you, meaning everyone gets a great workout together. 👌

🏅 A huge good luck to everyone taking on the Great North Run at the weekend! Go out there, enjoy every minute and soak up that incredible atmosphere, you’ve earned it! 🙌

And for those not racing, Sunday Social will be on as normal, with 5,7,10km distance options available.

🏃 SUNDAY SOCIAL 🏃‍♂️

Another huge turnout down at the barrage this morning for our weekly Sunday Social.

We probably sound like a broken record by now, but there really is no better way to start a Sunday than some easy miles with the TRC crew, followed by some unreal post-run coffee from the team at San Seb Coffee ☕️

A huge good luck to everyone taking on the Great North Run next weekend! We know plenty of the TRC family will be lining up, and we can’t wait to see you all smash it.

For anyone not racing, we’ll still be down at the barrage next Sunday for your weekly TRC fix.

But before then… Track Tuesday 👀

As always, we’ll have another quality interval session ready to get stuck into. See you there.

🏃‍♂️ TRACK TUESDAY 🏃‍♀️

What a night down at MSV for tonight’s Track Session. Who knew a couple of megaphones could take the vibes up another level! 📣

To see so many of you back on the track just a couple of days after the Boro 5 & 10K is a proper testament to the commitment you guys have and what makes TRC what it is.

A group of like-minded people, turning up, putting the work in and pushing each other every week.

The grind doesn’t stop. 👊

See you Sunday as we head back to the Barrage for Sunday Social and some easy miles. 🏃‍♂️☕️

🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ Boro 5 & 10km 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️

Wow, we loved that 🫶🏻

A slightly different experience with all three of us not running, however it was great to watch all of the TRC gang pushing themselves 💪 👏

We had far too much fun at the TRC cheer station and hope our words of encouragement helped push you all along - it was fantastic to see so many different running clubs from across the region and it was nice to support some of the local clubs too 🙌🏻 North York Moors Atheltic Club | Affiliated Run Club Loftus & Whitby AC Orchard Eagles Running Club New Marske Harriers runthemind_ to name a few….

A massive well done to everyone who took on the 5K or 10K today. Whether you smashed a PB, ran your first race, chased down a goal or simply turned up and got it done, you absolutely smashed it! 👏🔥

Tomorrow, Team TRC takes over the Middlesbrough 5K & 10K! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

If you’re running for Team TRC, or you’re a regular at any of our sessions, come and meet us at the TRC stand in the Event Village, Centre Square, from 8am.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Track Tuesday to remember and pay tribute to PCs Tom Clough and Matthew Blades.

When people learned that all session fees were being donated, many chose to give more. We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by our TRC community.

Today, we donated £350 to the GoFundMe in their memory. 💙

We are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic passing of PC Matthew Blades, who lost his life in the line of duty on Saturday night, alongside colleague PC Tom Clough.

Matthew was one of our regular Track Tuesday runners, and a familiar face you’ll have seen over the past few months. He will be missed by all within the TRC community.

Our thoughts are with both Tom & Matthew’s family, friends, colleagues and everyone who knew them at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Matthew. 🖤
