Keep, Showing, Up
March Physique check ā
Training hasnāt been perfect.
Some weeks have been consistent, others a bit hit and miss.
But this is what I always remind both myself and my clientsā¦
Progress doesnāt come from perfection.
It comes from continuing to show up.
So over the last few weeks Iāve been focusing on rebuilding momentum. Getting back into a consistent routine with my training, tightening things up nutritionally, and just stacking small wins again.
Good to get a solid session in. This leg session was deliberately lighter.
Relocating Sozo Gym, Christmas, New Year⦠itās been a stop-start period.
Rather than force numbers or chase old PRs, the focus right now is:
ā”ļø Show up
ā”ļø Move well
ā”ļø Stack sessions
Not because I canāt push harder, but because consistency beats intensity when youāre resetting.
Youāll notice some 1 & 1/4 reps in the stretched position on a couple of movements.
This is a simple way to increase time under tension, reinforce control where people usually rush, and load the muscle in its most demanding range. Less weight, more intent, great for rebuilding tissue tolerance, improving motor control, and setting up better progress long-term.
Physically and mentally, Iām in a much better place to build again.
2026 isnāt about dramatic restarts, itās about calm, repeatable momentum.
If youāve felt a bit off-track recently, this is your reminder:
You donāt need to go all-in today.
You just need to start again, properly.
Consistency first. Progress follows.

š„ HENRYāS PROGRESS š„
So far we areā¦
15.3kg fat mass down.
16% body fat down.
2.4kg lean mass up.
This is what happens when you commit fully to the process š
came in wanting to get leaner, stronger, and feel good in his body again and heās absolutely smashed it.
What youāre seeing here isnāt just a physical change⦠itās the confidence, discipline and mindset shift that comes with showing up for yourself week after week.
As he said himself:
āYouāve completely changed my confidence and this is a new lifestyle for me now.ā
No quick fixes. No gimmicks. Just structure, accountability and consistent effort.
Massive respect, buddy, onwards and upwards šŖš„

The hardest part about chasing change is accepting that:
There are no guarantees.
Your hard work wonāt always give instant results.
No one is coming to save you.
Discipline beats motivation.
And sometimes, life just isnāt fair.
⦠But thatās exactly what makes it worthwhile.
Because if it were easy, everyone would have the results they say they want.
If it were obvious, you wouldnāt need courage to step forward.
The fact that it takes risk, sacrifice and consistency is what makes the reward so powerful.
When the difference between giving up and breaking through can come down to persistence and timing, the only way forward is to:
ā
Be okay with setbacks
ā
Grow comfortable being uncomfortable
ā
Keep showing up, even when progress feels slow
Over and over again.
Thatās the price of transformation.
But itās also the privilege ā the opportunity to write a different story, build a stronger body, and live a better life. šŖ

I donāt think Iāve shed tears over the loss of someone Iāve not met before. But here I am 2 days in a rowā¦I ask myself why has this affected me the way it has, iāll try to make a little sense, so here goesā¦
I think for many of us, Charlie wasnāt just a political voice, he was a husband, a father, and most importantly, a brother in Christ who stood boldly for truth in a culture that often suppresses and despises it. He spoke with courage and clarity where others compromised. He carried the weight of leadership, responsibility, and conviction.
Why does this loss hit so deeply? Because as a Christian man, like Charlie, a husband and father its felt personally. As Christian Men we know what it means to shoulder the responsibility of protecting and leading our families in a world that pulls against us. My heart especially aches for his wife and his babies, who will now grow up without their Dad by their side. That thought alone breaks me.
But as Iāve prayed through this, the Lord reminded me of two scriptures:
John 12:24 ā āTruly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.ā
Romans 8:28 ā āAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.ā
Charlieās life, and now his death, is not wasted. Like a seed planted in the ground, it will bear much fruit. His example of conviction will stir many others to rise up. And even in grief, we cling to the promise that God is working all things together for good, even when we cannot yet see how.
And this is where the gospel meets us. Without Christ, death is the final word. But in Jesus, death has lost its sting. āI am the resurrection and the life,ā Jesus said. āWhoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he liveā (John 11:25). At the cross, our sins are forgiven. In His resurrection, our eternity is secure. That is our hope, not just for Charlie, but for every one of us who believes.
Our time is short. Letās not waste it. Letās lead, letās stand, and letās point people to Jesus. Because the seed that falls into the ground will bear much fruit.
