We’re looking for an ambitious, confident and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
Established in 2010, UK Sports Coaching works with schools, clubs, children and families across Greater Manchester, delivering an extensive range of sports, education, childcare and community programmes.
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for someone who can open new doors, generate new opportunities, build strong relationships and help grow every area of UK Sports.
🔥 YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
🏫 Developing new school partnerships
📚 Growing our PE & PPA provision
🌅 Increasing breakfast, lunchtime & after-school clubs
👧 Expanding Kids Club & wraparound childcare
☀️ Growing our holiday clubs & camps
⚽ Increasing the number of UK Sports grassroots football teams
📈 Growing attendance across our weekly football coaching & development sessions
🏆 Increasing the number of Greater Manchester Cup tournaments we deliver
💃 Increasing participation across our weekly dance school sessions
🤝 Building new school, club & community partnerships
🏟️ Developing opportunities through the UK Sports Arena
📍 Identifying new venues and areas for expansion
💡 Creating new commercial opportunities across the business
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Someone who is:
✅ Confident, proactive and highly personable
✅ Commercially minded with a passion for growth
✅ An excellent communicator
✅ Comfortable approaching and meeting new organisations
✅ Able to build relationships with senior decision-makers
✅ Organised, self-motivated and target-driven
✅ Experienced in business development, sales or account management
✅ Full of ideas and prepared to turn those ideas into opportunities
Experience within education, sport, childcare or the leisure industry would be a real advantage.
