Had an incredible week away last week with to Girona on a cycle holiday. โฃโฃโฃ

We did lots of cycling, eating, running and just having fun. โฃโฃโฃ

A much needed break at a time where life's felt heavy recently ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿผ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป. Could feel my Granddad's presence in moments like when we got back from cycling and his fav song was on the music player at our hotel or when a Robin was flying nearby as I was cycling. I do believe the universe gives you messages like this from the loved ones who are no longer with us on Earth ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

I'll still be training hard, but I want to focus on some solid training blocks without the pressure of preparing for race day every few weeks.โฃ

I've also got a cycling holiday planned with my twin, which I'm very excited about ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธโฃ.

We often talk about the physical demands of training, but it's ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž ๐ญ๐จ๐จ. For me, racing is always in the back of my mind as it means a lot to me, so a break from competition over the summer feels like the right move. โฃ
