That time has come peeps where one of my pride and joys is up for grabs. Another to follow soon!. This one sure is a beauty. Here is the description. £3449 takes it.

Immaculate bike. Owned and invisiframed from new. I have receipts, booklets, frame bags etc.

Custom build, lovingly owned and maintained by myself - a professional bike mechanic. Wants for nothing and is in perfect working order - all smooth no issues. Spare bearing kit included. The existing bearings were fitting in March this year and I've just regreased them alongside replacing the bottom bracket bearings (Hope) and a new upper headset bearing. The chain is waxed and minimal wear, shocked have been serviced by slickandslide suspension with the fork upgraded to 3.1 charger damper. Strava says its covered 800 miles. There are a couple of miniature marks to the invisiframe. Tiny marks on the fork legs. A good few scrapes from rocks on the wheel rims as to be expected from a mountain bike and the crank arms are also marked from rock strikes but nothing effects performance or durability.

Spec:
Size Large V3 frame with glovebox
Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate Fork 160mm 3.1 charger with buttercups
Super deluxe rear shock
Dt swiss Xmc1501 wheelset (£1700) 240 hubs sound amazing!.
Mary radial, butcher tyres tubeless with Chris King valves - minimal wear - 200 miles covered max.
Hope Tech 4 E4 brakes, sram uprated 200mm rotors
Hope bottom bracket, Cane creak headset
Burgtec ride high 50 bars
Burgtec stem, spacers, seat clamp, axle.
Sram Gx groupset
Pnw loam dropper 175mm
Fabric Titanium rail saddle

This was over £7000 when built. Low blow offer can expect a sarcastic reply. I don't fall for scams - don't bother - I will remove the wheels and knock off £600 from the price if that helps a sale - you keep the rotors and cassette.

Some interesting products launching at the mo'.
Could stans gold be the road sealent we've been waiting for?
Abec 5 bearings for sensible money (most bb are rated Abec 3!.
Mavic upping the wheel game with 1k mtb wheelset!. Is there a gravel or road equivalent coming as that's lighter than most!

All of these brands and many more are available through the Pedal Power workshop 👍👊

Feeling sad but grateful.
Perhaps where it all started for me!. I did work experience with Simon & Leigh and then secured a weekend/holiday job. I was largely based in the workshop and can remember days building the Christmas bikes where the cellar was rammed with over 100 bikes we needed to build and prep for the big day. I still see the lads and call in to the shop often and they've certainly helped me out with some tricky jobs and unusual parts over the years. Likewise as my knowledge and experience of modern tech has developed I've returned the favour many times. I'm genuinely gutted they won't be their to lean on when needed but the lads deserve their retirement after decades of service to their local community. Thank you Simon and Leigh for the memories, laughs and support over the years🫡🥰

Another brand new bike needing brake mounts facing 🫣
The front deraillieur set up was also dreadful on this (to high, not aligned). Rear deraillieur was okay but b tension was way to far back and a cable clip missing. Front brake wasn't aligned. Axles were bone dry.
It's definitely worth getting a new bike checked over folks. Even high end brands, bikes cost 3k- £5k the set ups I'm seeing at the moment are really poor 🫣😢

Probably the best upgrade on any bike is a nice wheelset.
I've supplied and fitted this lovely Specialized Crux with a set of Zipp 303 xplr sw wheels. Set up tubeless with Conti Terra Competition Race tyres.
Like many bikes at the moment the factory assembly wasn't up to scratch so this bike needed it's gears and brakes resetting too 🫣

Passing the batton onto my son yesterday evening as we climbed snowdon together 🫶
It's become an annual 'thang' for me the past 6 or 7 years but maybe this year onwards
is where Ethan continues the tradition. So pleased I got to experience this with him and make some wonderful memories - and for his first ascent we had almost perfect weather and views 🙌🥰🤩

The pink stuff strikes again. Bike less than 12 months old and fully integrated headset creaking. Thankfully I could expose the headset parts enough to clean them up.

Workshop is now closed and responses to enquiries are likely to be unanswered. It's been a super busy 8-10 weeks and thank you to all my customers for your support.
I need a break and once I return I'll share an update on my availability / diary.

Yowzers! 6.84kg!
This Aethos was in today for new Groupset. I must say the latest improvements to the new Force is making me think twice about my previous di2 preference for road bikes 🤔🤔. The ratios have been better for some time but the shift wasn't as good as di2.....now they are very close. Plus the latest sti levers are some of the best I've felt. impressed

Seeing your son love something as much as you do is very special. Ethan's grafted at his engineering apprenticeship since September and gradually collected parts for his . He's built his own wheels and even made a shock bush at work for the suspension. We finished the build tonight ready for some test runs at the weekend before his next race 🥰🤩
