Energize Martial Arts Academy is one of the best known and well respected martial arts schools in the Manchester area. We teach all students from the age of 4 upwards developing not only fantastic martial artists and role models but also well disciplined, confident and respectful members of society. Our highly trained and dedicated team of instructors will guide the new students through their challenging yet rewarding journey to achieve their black belt.The club is fast approaching its 17 year anniversary and we are very proud with our world championship results. We actually missed a brilliant update from Italy 🇮🇹!

On Saturday, Aria, Toby and Theo were all selected for the children’s team — an incredible achievement in itself.

The girls’ team, featuring Aria, put in a fantastic performance and came away with an impressive silver medal.

As for the boys… what an absolute display. Our two lads teamed up with Kit and Joey to delivered a masterclass, taking out every opposition put in front of them and claiming the gold medal.

Being selected for the team is a huge honour — winning it is something truly special.

A short breather now, then it’s straight into the Teams. With Theo, Toby and Aria all selected, we can’t wait to see them step out and go again.

Day 5 – Finals Day Brilliance 🏆🔥

Day 5 had everything you want from a finals day — Point-Fighting finals, plus Kick-Light and Light-Contact semi‑finals and finals. The energy was unreal, and those still chasing Gold rose to the moment in spectacular style.

They fought with heart, courage and absolute commitment — nothing held back, nothing left on the mats. Their performances were world‑class, and they’ve done themselves, the club, and the entire team proud. Achievements like theirs deserve just as much celebration and have medals to be proud of. Bronze or Silver in the Worlds is massive 👏👏

Day 4 is wrapped — quarter‑finals, semi‑finals and finals for those still fighting, and what a day it’s been.

We are incredibly proud to announce we now have two World Champion kickboxers:
Theo and Aria 👏👏
And a brilliant silver medal for Zac 👏
All three worked unbelievably hard today and fully earned their success.

Through to tomorrow are:
Harry WF – PF, Abbie WF – LC, David PF, Jake KL, Lucas PF, Joe Ring, Abbie PF, Evan KL and Jake PF.

All Point‑Fighters head straight into their finals, with the rest competing in semi‑finals.

Day 3 afternoon results. Harry, Joe, Jake, Lucas and David all smashing their fights with some 10 clearing their opponents. Bad luck for Fallon having to fight again which took us all by surprise. Day 3 Update – Busy, Brilliant Morning 👏🔥

Day 3 has been full-on already, with most of our fighters competing this morning and they’ve delivered some brilliant performances.

Huge well done to Theo, Ed, Zac, Aria, Eric, Fallon, Evan, and Abbie for their wins and strong showings 👏🔥.

Izzy and Harry were incredibly unlucky against tough opponents, but both showed real heart. We reset, refocus, and go again after the break.

This afternoon we’ve got Harry (PF), Joe, Lucas, David, and Jake all stepping up later, so plenty more action still to come.

Day 2 did not slow down one bit. Our fighters hit the mats for their opening rounds, second rounds, and in some cases all three disciplines. We had tough draws, No.1 seeds, and some brilliant moments where our team showed what Energize is all about.
